Cashout

Cashout has become a very popular concept among online bettors around the world, even though it is a relatively new feature. Cashout allows the player to have more control over their bets. In this way they can either get guaranteed wins or reduce losses. However, cashout is not the best option for every situation. In particular, novice users should familiarize themselves with the function before using it continuously. We have created this complete guide to Cashout and everything you need to know about it.

What is Cashout?
Cashout is a feature that allows bettors to take back their bets before they have been settles during the game time. In other words. the bookmaker offers you a live offer for your bet, which you can accept before the end of the game.

Let's try to explain better with an example.
Let's say there's a match between PSG and Real Madrid. We decide to bet on PSG a bet of 10€ at odds of 2.00 : this means that if PSG wins you would get a total win of 20€. However, let's say that PSG takes a 1-0 lead in the 75th minute, but is playing poorly. At this point, you start to worry that they might lose the lead and therefore kiss your winnings goodbye.

This is where the Cashout features come into play.

So, for example, you might agree to Cashout your bet early with a payout of 13€ or 16€, rather than the more uncertain 20€ waiting until the end of the match.

By choosing the Cashout option, you ensure that you make the most of PSG' current lead, rather than worrying about whether Real M might score and win. In this case the payout you would have gotten would have been 7€ to 4€ less than what you would have received if you had waited until the end of the game.

In other words, you reduce the risks but get a lower and certain win.

When can Cashout be used?
Cashout is a great option. However, you need to understand when to use it.

Cashout can only be used in live bets , once the match has started. This means that if you have bet on a match that is not offered live, you will not be allowed to Cashout your winnings early. Furthermore, if you wait too long during the live betting, the bets may close and you will no longer be able to use the Cashout feature to collect the reduced but safe payout.

Cashout on multiple bets
In the case of multiple bets, the Cashout value increases constantly as the events selected in the bet occur.

In general, Cashout for multiple bets could be more advantageous, as the Cashout value becomes much higher than the stake when there are only a few events left to complete the multiple bet.

The value of the amount offered when Cashing Out a multiple bet depends on the current odds for the outcome, the situations on the field and the general probability of the final result.

When to avoid using Cashout?
The Cashout feature is great for both accumulating winnings and managing losses.
In general, if you are not confident that your team will win, it is best to Cashout before the end of the match.

It is advisable to close the bet early with Cashout even if your team is losing and has little chance of recovery. This way, you will probably lose less money than your entire bet. This does not mean that Cashout is always the smartest option. On the contrary, there are scenarios where users should avoid using it.

Generally speaking, you should not Cashout if your winnings are lower than your  initial bet . It is better to hope for a final upset.

We often stress the importance of being able to afford to lose a bet. Always avoid placing bets that you cannot afford to lose. In some cases, it is better to hold until the end hoping for a change in the results than to get back only 25% of the amount bet.

Types of Cashout Options

Cashout can be available on selected events, fixtures and markets both on single and multiple bets, for a variety of sports including Soccer, Tennis and Basketball. PLAYRED cannot guarantee that the Cashout feature will be available on your bet selection. Cashout will not be available when a market is suspended.

Should you wish to Cashout, all you need to do is click on the Cashout button located below your selection(s). If you choose to Cashout your entire bet, this amount will be confirmed and credited to you once the market(s) has been settled. The final result for your bet will have no impact on the amount returned to your account.

The amount offered will depend on the performance of your selection(s) and may be higher or lower than your original stake enabling you to guarantee a profit or minimise a potential loss.

Total Cashout
Total Cashout is when you decide to Cashout your entire bet.

For example, if you placed a 20€ bet and then used the Cashout option for the full amount, if you were to guess the prediction at odds of 2.00, you could decide to Cashout in advance by multiplying the entire amount wagered by 1.50 so winning 30€ instead of 40€

Partial Cashout
If you choose to partially Cashout your bet, simply enable the Cashout slider by clicking on the icon to the right of the Cashout button and selecting Partial Cashout. You can then choose the amount you would like to Cashout and this amount will be confirmed and credited to you once the market(s) has been settled, leaving the remaining part of your stake to be settled in accordance with the final result of the match.

For multiple bet options, the minimum value that can be Cashed Out is the same as the value of any secured funds. For example, for a bet consisting of three 1€ Doubles (A x B, A x C, B x C), where selection A and B have both won, each at 3.00, and the other selection is still to run, your minimum Partial Cashout amount would be 9€ (8€ winnings plus 1€ stake).
